What we collect, and why
- Email subscription: your email address, collected with double opt-in (you confirm by clicking a link). Legal basis: consent. Used solely to send you the emails you asked for.
- Contact form: your name, email and message. Legal basis: legitimate interest in replying to you.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses transiently to serve and secure the site. We run no analytics trackers and set no advertising cookies.
Where it lives
Subscriber data is stored with Brevo (our email provider) and in our records. Form submissions are stored in our content system (Notion). Both providers process data under GDPR-compliant terms.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe with one click in any email. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by writing to tobi@freehold.site — we action requests within 30 days. You may lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Retention
Subscriber records are kept while you remain subscribed and deleted within 60 days of unsubscribing. Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months.
